STEW BOLNO

Stew,
What prepared you to compose this book on leadership?

I’ve learned and earned my way through life (working in reverse): as a management consultant/seminar leader for over 30 years, retail store owner, manager/buyer at New York Department Stores, and taught full and part- time at universities. I’ve been elected president of my condo board and a local chapter of Toastmasters International.

One year, among a group of over 3,000 worldwide distributors, I was honored to receive “Team Builder of the Year” for my work in successfully mentoring consultants on my team. Each of my Master’s Degrees was attained at night while working full-time.

What’s your connection with politics?

In the political arena, I’ve been a party candidate for U.S. Congress, coached candidates, and written a Candidate Playbook; especially helpful for first-timers. I’ve been invited to be a speaker for many political clubs and selected as chairman of a local political group. I’ve blogged about politics for over 10 years
and written numerous essays on Donald Trump, regarding his leadership style
and battles as a political figure.

Why did you commit to the effort, at this point in time?

I believe we live in a time and circumstance that devalues the concepts of integrity, quality standards, and objective thinking. Composing this book was a calling. I hope people gain value from their involvement while enjoying the experience.
